Just saw on FB Peter passed away on Wednesday. This man was our eyes for contest coverage back in the day and a truly great man. I got thr chance to pick his brain a few times and talking to him was like being back at Weidwr headquarters. RIP Peter

Anne, his wife messaged me earlier to tell me.
I don’t even know what to say, Peter was my friend and inspiration. I can’t believe he’s gone.
My heart goes out to his amazing wife Anne who I can’t even begin to imagine what she is going through right now.
Rest in peace Peter. The true legend of our industry, funny, intelligent, kind, talented Peter.MD Global Muscle Radio ep.40-https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-MIKWx8sAcw&t=5319s

Rest in Peace, Peter. Thank you for all you've done. Giles made this wonderful post on our Instagram and I thought it would fit really well here too. God Bless.Webmaster, MD

Pumping Press.
The best bodybuilding publication there has ever been. Sorry, MD, Flex etc, but when this came out I RAN to buy it. He and Anne had a vision and it ended up with Peter being universally acclaimed as a journalist and a person.

Incredibly sad to hear it. He was my inspiration and the reason I got my job in this industry - even in my small, far-away country.
It was seeing him who has already done it that made me think that I could do such things too.
Every time I read his stories from older Olympia competitions it felt like I was there watching those guys battling it out.
Heck he made me feel like I knew Dorian as well as he!
In terms of writing and publishing in this industry he wasn't the greatest, he was it!
R.I.P. Peter

I know not many people here are aware of me, but I am a freelance writer in the industry. I have magazines that have both my and Peter's articles in them. They were already cherished and will be forever. He was the undisputed greatest writer/journalist/storyteller in bodybuilding. I read his work as a fan, followed his advice as a writer, and had the pleasure of getting to know him somewhat as a colleague. As great as he was as a writer, he was a greater person. My condolences to Anne and everyone feeling this loss today.
