Apologies for the Forum Issue This Weekend

Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a great holiday weekend, and I do apologize for the forum being down on Sunday. It is true that we suffered another attack. This one was more severe, and although I was notified, it took quite some time to get the forum fully operational. We thank you for your patience and understanding while this was happening.

We know how important this place is to you. I know how important it is to you, and I know lately you haven't been happy with me. Please know that we have been working very hard on making the forum more secure. We do not believe that these attacks are the rogue user we've been having difficulty with, as these attacks are very similar to what happened last year when we experienced attacks last year which prompted the upgrade.

I have spoken to MD's Developers and asked them to provide a stable solution to the problem. To many of you, this is your hang out, your home for bodybuilding, but more so your community where you hang out with your friends and discuss bodybuilding in all its detail. I get that.

That is why I will be devoting as much of my time as possible to making the forum more secure against the attacks,and to make sure that you are protected.

You're very welcome, SOJ. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. I've been quiet about my real title because of email spam, but I know how important transparency is to all of you. So that's my New Year's Resolution and promise to all of you - I will try to be more transparent about ongoings. We want you to feel safe here, and we will do all we can to make sure you are safe in this forum. Thank you very much for your support. It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the update Jen. I must say it is a worry that md may not be around much longer as there are no other forums with this level of detailed analysis... But given this update from you it is more settling, I hope the issues can be resolved asap.

We don't intend to go anywhere, Harmon. In fact, we are trying very hard to improve the overall experience for you on the forum and our other platforms..
And we also have a lot of great things planned for 2021. For instance, we started Channel Memberships on our Youtube channel, and we've been raising the bar on our Instagram too. Plus we're working on providing even better angles to our contest coverage.
