More Apologies for This Weekend

Hello Everyone,

I'm pissed. I'm pissed that this keeps happening. I know all of you are too.
So here's what we're doing. We're stepping up our game. We're putting in new defenses and we're going to make it tougher for these little assholes to bring down our forum. And yes, they are assholes.

Whoever is doing this, if it's the work of one person or a thousand - we're on to you and we'll stop you.
You may have brought us down this weekend, but you'll have a tough time this week.

To everyone on this forum, I apologize that your forum was down but know we're doing all we can to ensure that you have your community free of these small-minded, entitled assholes.

I would like to say a special thanks to Griff11 & Baudian for keeping the peace this past weekend and being able to communicate with all of you.
I thank them for their efforts, their hard work in helping me work on this throughout the weekend and this mornng.

Thanks, guys. Really appreciate your patience and understanding. We will get this under control. If it is the Rogue User (who shall not be named) we're going to make things very difficult for them. If it is a specific group, we're equally going to give them a hard time too. Deep down we're dealing with insecure individuals who need to use a keyboard to get out their frustrations. I pity them.

I get it, Squat Junkie. We're working on it. I don't have a magic wand to make the hackers disappear, but what we do have are better defenses and we're doing an upgrade on the overnight. Just so you know, I sacrificed my entire weekend for this forum. Also, Griff11 & Baudian were very helpful. I'm sorry if you weren't included in the loop. Last night the planned maintenance went through without any issues. This should improve the security of the forum and prevent future disruptions from occurring. While not 100% fool-proof it is better than what we had previously. Also in the event,the forum does go down, we have made it possible to have it up in running quickly. Thanks, everyone, for your patience.

You are correct. The forum is faster. We upgraded to the newer version for improved functionality. It also clears cache quicker and regularly.
