TRAINING INTENSITY AND FAT LOSS|SHOULD BODYBUILDERS DO CARDIO?

Good comprehensive article on a timeless "open ended" question.
The Pumping Iron era champs rarely did much cardio.
They did high volume work in the gym, some 2x a day for hr or more each session.
Obviously, that method worked, but was it the best for max size/min fat ? Doubtful.
We can debate the ideal rep range*, but few trainers dispute the value of intense lifting for muscle gains.
(* sets using 6-15 reps appear to be the most popular ).
Doing lower intensity cardio is "totally aerobic" in nature.
The best, practical tip I ever had on proper cardio intensity was the "talk test".
1. If you can't talk, you're going too hard.
2. If you aren't a bit breathless while talking you're going too slow
Going along while maintaining a slightly breathless conversation is the ideal .I saw a star, reached for it...and MISSED
