Hany Rambod: Can Hadi Choopan Win the Olympia? | The Ronline Report
I’ll never give up on Roelly. That 2018 Olympia look, Saturday finals was dynamite.
Ramy would be in trouble if Roelly could improve even slightly on that.
I never saw him person. I've heard from credible 1st hand witnesses (like you) that Roelly in top shape is mind blowing.
In my OPINION, Roelly's incredible arms, delts and legs dominate his overall physique in certain poses.
For example, his overall body line looks odd ( to me) in a front dbl bi and front lat spread.

Roelly's front double isn't bad, pretty mind blowing, even since he brought his stomach in. But is front lat spread looks very awkward, always has-- too scrunched up, doesn't stand big and tall when he hits it, makes him look weird.
I think Roelly has some flexibility / joint issues, he can't even do the side triceps correctly. It's a shame, he should try to improve his posing skills, he already did an incredible job with his stomach and waist. And of course, he needs a crazy condition to beat Ramy
Not everyone knows that on Saturday night, the judges scored him second - meaning he beat Curry and Heath! Had he looked that good Friday night, he would have been runner-up to Ramy in the end.
He looked incredible at the night show

The front lat almost always looks awkward on any man who has managed to pack ungodly amounts of muscle on a relatively small frame. I think Roelly is about 5-8 and 260 on stage?

Seems to always be a rough shot for people to hit when they are overdeveloped in the delts and arms, and "moderately developed" in the chest and back (which have always been more weak points for Roelly). He isn't narrow by any means, but doesn't have the clavicular width of a Kai or Coleman, which makes the pose look more "scrunched up" when he hits it.

Very true, which is why this was always a lesser shot for Heath.
