Did Ron Harris read this yet?
I always made decent gains by adding a low tech, basic movement for triceps.
Close girp push ups, AFTER one of the moves in the article always gave a great tricep pump.
Make a triangle with your 2 hands , right under your mid chest and pump away.
It's simple but very effective.I saw a star, reached for it...and MISSED

During my own early years of training, my tris blew up while my pecs stayed flat as a pancake.
Unless you're one of the gifted top 0.0001% of freaks, we all have some stubborn. weak body part(s).
I finally got some decent growth out of my pecs, via intense pre-exhaust ( cable cruises > machine chest press).
I did strict barbell inclines BEFORE this pre-exhaust cycle/super sets.
The intense deep muscle pump and ache let me know it was working.
I know we've exchanged posts on this issue before and you're extremely knowledgeable .
BUT, I'd humbly suggest you try to following super set for your own triceps training:
*tri push down ( cable) with close grip push ups ( on floor)
1 warm up set of push downs , then 2 to 3 super sets .
I apologize if this is useless info for a man with your experience but I figure we can all use a tip sometimes.

I always found dumbbell kicks to be an uncomfortable and useless exercise, but I would suggest instead doing it with the cable or bands in a final set to finish the workout right after triceps press-downs on the lat machine.http://betionastore.es/

It is also quite humbling,if you keep your dody low and use no momentum -10 kilos feels much heavier than 20 kgs dumbells, because of the constant tension!
i am not convinced it helps with hypertrothy, but it gives you a wicked pump, done last as a finisher in your workout!

On a serious note, I just bought a basic, set of push up bars.
The pair set me back $7.98 plus tax, at my nearest Walmart.
I'm going to work tris in a bit and will experiment with a more narrow grip for tri stimulation *15- 25 sec).Learn more about Body-Solid PUB2 Push-Up Bars: http://www.bodysolid.com/Home/PUB2/Push-Up_BarsBy using your body weight as resistance, these push-up bars wil...I saw a star, reached for it...and MISSED
