I'd have to calculate. This year at the USA's for the first time we'll see all male bodybuilding class winners get one. At Nationals, the top 2 in each class will. So, we've seen some changes this year.

I was told North Americans will be held at Sheraton Sq. in Pittsburg. Same location as Masters Nat's.

I heard the venue (hotel) didn't renew the contract, & Gary went back to the place he's got the most secure situation with.

North Americans are in Pittsburgh and not Cleveland this year? Any reason for the change?

Gary is doing all women's events on Friday & all men's events on Saturday. This is the first year Gary has done men's masters at age 35. Other promoters who start at 35 for men usually have classes that run 35-45, but Gary is doing it as 35-39. Men's & women's physique are new at the Teen, Collegiate & Masters Nationals this year. Here are the pro card opportunities, from Gary's website:

IFBB PRO QUALIFIER - Pro cards are awarded
OVERALL WINNERS - These Overall winners are eligible for an IFBB pro card: Men BB Over 50, Men BB Over 60, Men BB Over 70, Women BB Over 35, Women BB Over 45, Women BB Over 55, Figure Over 55.
TOP 2 PLACERS - The top 2 placers in the Overalls of the following Divisions are eligible for an IFBB pro card: Men BB Over 35, Men BB Over 40.
TOP 3 PLACERS - The top 3 placers in the Overall of Figure Over 45.
CLASS WINNERS - The Class winners of the following Divisions are eligible for an IFBB pro card: Figure Over 35, Bikini Over 35, Men Physique Over 35, Men Physique Over 40, Women Physique Over 35 and Women Physique Over 45.

I was anxious to see if he would do this a second year. Evidently, it worked!

There's also a change in pro cards awarded. At the NA's and the Masters Nats, there's one given to the Over 35 Men Winner.
