The patient is a 30 year old male from Westchester NY. The patient wanted the size of his breast reduced. He wanted the protrusions on his chest eliminated as well as the size of his nipples reduced. The patient sought a plastic surgeon specialized in this condition. The treatment protocol used by the surgeon, Dr. Blau, called for removal of the glandular tissue followed by a minimal amount of liposculpture. This patient did not require a drain, which accelerated the healing and recovery process. The inscision was made at the base of the nipple on the outer edge of the pigmented areola.
The postoperative photos were taken at one years time, and display a satisfied patient free of the physical manifestations of gynecomastia.
