      You can still do leg exercises. Layne Norton had a rupture similar to yours and he was safety bar squatting with 400+ and doing legs 3x per week to keep the size up on the lower half. Good luck in your recovery, a small injury is never fun so I know this must not be either.

        I had the same injury man on Oct 23rd doing incline barbell press!! I had surgery nov 7th, and i'm already down 20lbs too. The hardest part about this whole thing is the mental aspect of it. Lifting, and pushing myself in the gym is the only thing i really do for myself, its like my every day therapy session. Having this taken away temporarilly definately has caused me some depression issues.
        I wish you a speedy recovery man, and i finally get to start some PT next week.
