Today was a long cardio day - 6am 8 min warmup on bike, then 60 minute body pump class followed by 30 mins on bike. I weighed myself this morning and in the last 3 weeks since starting cutting diet i've dropped from 215 down to 205lbs. So, I've still got a long way to go but I'm off to a good start.

I just had a heart attack reading your post!

I think you may be overdoing your cardio.

Since your goal is to burn bodyfat and not to build cardiovascular endurance, I think you should do 60 minutes (@the max) of low-moderate intensity cardio a day.

Your persistence is to be admired.

            IHN,

            Addison K.

I'll keep that in mind, I do like the body pump class, the changeup and people in the class are pretty cool, I'm hoping after dropping these 1st 10 lbs which took me under 3 weeks I can keep up a 1lb drop a week

diet really seems to be key, I know that's obvious but I now know you really need to live through it to truely see it. I've worked out in the past but when I did I wasn't strict with my diet so I got some results, but nothing spectacular. Keeping the diet straight makes it oh so much better.

Since I had off of work today I was able to make it back out for an afternoon cardio session - 1 hr eliptical, minimal resistance level 5 out of 20 and kept pace between 3.5 and 4 mph.
