          • So...in 2015, I slowly toned down the heavy lifting as I picked up intensity training MMA and boxing. Realized that being big isn't shit if you can't move. Started dropping weight on my way to the goal weight of 155. I'm at 178 right now, losing about 2lbs a week.

I'm lifting twice weekly, superset style, high volume reps, low weight. The other days are spent at the local gym with my coach and fellow boxers. Those sessions are usually 45-60 mins long and are very high intensity cardio...sparring, heavy bag, jump rope, etc.

            Yesterday was Back/Legs/Arms
            Superset #1
            Deads: 1x15(135), 2x12(185)
            Box Jumps: 3x6(20)
            Superset #2
            V Squat: 11,12,13(270)
            Cable Pulldowns: 1x15(100), 15,15(120)
            Superset #3
            Prone Leg Curls: 3x15(120)
Seated Cable Row (V Grip): 3x12(140)
            Ezbar Curls: 15,14,14(65)
            Superset #4
            Diamond Pushups: 2x20(BW)
            Alt DB Curls: 2x12(25)

            • good shit Big daddy leonidas.. lol.

its so funny, i feel the same way about not wanting to be huge and being immobile. i dont really have much interest in being huge or lifting insane amounts of weights for fun anymore. i'm kinda leaning more towards form and function.

btw, you still into ak rifles?

Yo what up bro! Glad to hear from ya

Don't get me wrong, maybe once a month I'll hit a low rep, heavy weight session, but aside from that yea, I'm not so much into size anymore. And yep I'm still an AK nutcase...and got into a new business selling AK parts and militaria.

How goes it in Vegas? You still running and gunning?

                • Knocked out a conditioning session on Wednesday, 55 minutes on the jump rope, heavy bag and sparring. If you've never training at a boxing gym, you don't know what you're missing! The most intense cardio on earth

Got a late night session in on Sunday, never train at night, but it was pretty nice, gym was empty except from some college girls from UT who were a great distraction lol

                  Arnold DB Press: 1x15(20), 3x12(35)
                  Superset #1
                  DB Flat Bench: 3x12(45)

                  Superset #2
                  DB Alt Arm Press: 3x15(55)
                  Rope Pulldowns: 3x15(35)
                  Superset #3
                  Front Delt Raises: 3x12(25)

                        • Almost 3 years later...damn I didn't realize how long I've been away Life has had its ups and downs. I basically took a few years off from consistent training. Focused on martial arts (boxing/muay thai) with a maybe one or two days a week of full body lifting.

Cranked back into a consistent training about 3 months ago. My only focus was to increase strength. Focused on 4 days a week - Shoulders, Back, Chest, Legs. Eating about 2500-3000 kcals daily. Starting weight 182, end weight at 198. Now comes the hard part, losing that fat!

                          Before:

                          After:
                          3.jpg4.jpg

I basically have restored myself to the peak I hit back in 2013.

I'm hitting legs today and then next week kicking off the classic 5x5 Powerlifting protocol.

Good to be back! Hope everyone is well!
