    ... .... 395 is all time PR RAW.... I got more in me thou, I'll be back in a month with better #'s.

          deadlift max stuck

          Hello, in mid forties, lifting four 3 years, 2 religously,220lb 15% bf, max dead 435 and stuck like a stamp to an envelope. Any ideas? Got to 435 doing a modified phillipi/coan Mon work up to max the the triples on thursday for form and endurance. I peak out around 435 the when i deload it just goes away!

            those are great numbers
            are there any sticking points on your deads?
            what other work are you doing to help it?
            do you deadlift every week?

              525 the last time i maxed. that was 2 years ago at illinois strongest man

                I am deadliftin once a week (which isnt working very well). My dead is doen to 395! i just cant seem to break past 435!! My sticking point would be right of the floor or in the middle.

                  pulled 320kg last month in training,hope to pull it in comp soon.raw and drug free.

                    do deads once a month. concentrate on that sticking point with elevated straight legged deads, romanian deads and rack pulls from the knees. also throw in good mornings if you dont do them.

                        i will be lifting in the world drug free powerlifting championships which are being held in evansville,usa.in november.i will be lifting in the 145kg class.i am really looking forward to it.

                              did 623 in the last comp. had maybe 10-12 more lbs in there but yah cant clame what ya didnt do.
