  • 405 x 3, goal is 450.

        I just go to do them when i'm feeling i have to do them Years ago was hitting every 10th day. Later on was doing once a week. Few month ago went for twice a week. But my problems is - i have to go all out every single training. So no light days for me And i'm sure you know where it leads to.

        Actually i have a twisted pelvis. Next wednesday will get a session with chyropractor. There won't be a problem to fixing it up, but to keep it the spot is the problem.

        How often you do deads?

        • i used to pull 500lb for a single at 190lb...when i was locked up i competed in a power lifting contest at that weight and i won my weight class with a 500lb dead....500squat...and 300lb bench. i love deads, they're my favorite lift. but, about 6 months a go i fucked my lower back up and havent been right since. just started doing them again today actually with 315 for 5 i think i had more but didnt want to chance it.

              My best in competition is 600 raw @ 198. On Monday I was able to pull 585 x 2. I think I would have had 3 had my grip not slipped on the 2nd rep. Here's a vid:

                      Hey, sorry, hadn't logged on in a long time (had child #6! kinda busy). I do deads about once a week. My goal for Dec. 31, 2011, is 405lbs at 180 (41 years of age).

                      • did 540 in august, havent maxed since. did 515 x 2 for a couple sets this week no straps. any tips for strengthening grip?

                        • 350 2 sets of 6. I weigh 170 and am 5'9. Deadlifting 2x my bodyweight was always a goal. Now it'll be 3x :-)

                          • My 520 pull last week, think I can hit 545 easy. Form is pretty loose here, strict form allows me 455x5 :/

                            • 416 at 148 bodyweight about week ago, back went a little but I knew I had it so I kept pulling. If it was a struggle I would have dropped it.



                              Competing in the Nationals on June 11th, goal is 190lb. Looking at last years results, nobody in my 130-145 class is pulling close to that. Fingers crossed then haha.
