  • How long do you rest between sets??

Title says it all. Personally i like short resting periods, no longer than 45-60 seconds, just while my partner performs his set.

I don't always rest two minutes because I like to switch it up some, but I think that's pretty much average for me. I think it's a nice medium for me being able to lift heavy, but not sit on a bench for 5 minutes until I've lost my pump.

I'm playing with high reps lately so I take about a minute or so depending upon the body part.

It depends on what my goals are for that period of time.

Min. 60, to 90, at times to 120 sec (two min.) at times.

45-60 second accept for squats and deadlifts where I rest until my breathing is returns to normal and I can put the same intensity into the next set as I did the one before.

i do the next set when i know i am strong enough to get the reps i want.
less than a minute between warmups, well over a minute before work sets.
