H4TW: I do remember reading in MD that the Incline Press only stimulates the upper chest 5% more than flat bench, but while doing inclines it puts your lower chest @ a mechanical disadvantage therefore isolating your upper pecs more thoroughly. It might have been in one of Dorian Yates articles.

Thank god. I looked through the one I thought it was in but couldn't find it. I read somewher maybe in that same article that revers grip bench hit your upper pecs 20% more than incline.

I love that move second to last when I train chest, I feel the standing low cable flies in my upper chest alot too.

Cool, well that would make twice when Dorian is wrong, that cocky english faggot.

The Clavicular Head's (upper chest)origin is the Clavicle.

And the only thing i've learned today is that you need to be confined to the Pit Area like a fucking child.

You have yet to prove either of us wrong yet. Not one thing you've posted has been the least bit factual or backed up by any amount of information.

No wonder why your wife keeps you locked @ home.

It should be common sense. There is no point in pulling up facts that prove our points since this should be 3rd grade knowledge. But since you asked...
There is an "Upper Chest" and "Lower Chest" Which are both a part of the Pectoralis major. There is no Inner Chest or Outer chest. Merely their attachments.

In my experience yes you can work the "Upper" more than the "Lower"... But it's going to be a difference of like 10-25%.

There is the pectoralis minor, is under the pectoralis major... And is often confused as being the lower pec. It is not. I strained the damn thing a while back, and got to learn a lot about it... Here's a somewhat informative link.

There's a link and a quote to look into.

If you believe that you can isolate or emphasize the outer 'heads' of the pecs then you must also think that you can isolate the inner head of the biceps, or the outer head of the calf.

It all works as one connective unit. You can emphasize certain areas a little more than others... But you cannot isolate the upper pecs, outer pecs, quad sweep, lateral head of the triceps, ect, ect.

Quit crying, you sound like a little girl dude. No one called you any names and as far as running their mouth you're one to talk there, half the posts in this thread are you crying about people disagreeing with you.

Looking at your pics I wouldn't take anything you have to say about training with more than a grain of salt., so with that said.

Congrats on being right...Hats off lol..

I love you both but I garentee you any Pro BBer would dissagree with all of you posts. You can target specific heads or parts of muscles. Read anything by any pro or watch one of their training vids, they'll mention it constantly....Fact.

Are you telling me that doing a set of preacher curls for biceps hit the bis in the exact same way that a drag curl or hammer curl hits them??
