    Remember if you want to be fast then you should train fast. What I mean is more explosive movements. At least that is what we were told in college by our sprint coach. When you are doing leg curls for example the positive move should be controlled but as explosive as you can make it under control. Skip any slow movements, lunges are great, we also did step ups, load a bar with 135 then alternating legs step up on to a 24 to 35" box. Over time the weight can change but we did these and they worked great. I read an article recently on them I will see if I can find it and post the link. Jump lunges and jump squats are some others we used along with plyos, anyways good luck man sound like you are in for some fun!
