  • Morning cardio
    I also started my blast yesterday

    Tried 5/3/1- Will have to warm up better....I just don't start to get loose and into till a couple sets in

    Deadlift 5-315 3-365 1-405
    Squats all 2 sets of 10 134,185,225,245,275 (only got 3 on last set felt something tweak didn't want to push it)
    Leg ext. Sets of 15 3, then 4 holes down (3 sets)
    leg curls- all sets of 15 as well same # of holes ext
    Seated calf raises- 4 sets of 20 90 lbs
    Stand Barbell calf raises - 1 set of 12 at 135 3 sets of 15 at 185


    I will be weighing myself every saturday and keep everything on my calender....Going to try and recomp or drop as much body fat as i can while maintaining or slowly increasing strength

      Seated DB Press 3 warm ups 12-15 reps 40's,45's,50's 2 working 90'sx10 100'sx7
      Standing overhead Press Barbell- 135x10,155x10,165x10,185x5
      Side lateral Raises all 15 reps 15's,15's,20's,20's
      Front Raises sets of 10 20's,20's,30's,30's
      Super set cable pushdowns with cable curls sets of 15
      Ticeps-5 holes down Biceps-3 holes down 5 sets
      all shrugs sets of 10
      Front- 145,225,225,275
      Behind- 225,315 for 3 sets
      Finished out with abs

      • yeah, the first one is what i do when im maxin out. its just like that after 315 i go 365-1 405-1 then jumps become smaller, just depends where im at in my training.

          Sorry if I am mistaken, but you did power lifting at one point right? If you did what where your max raw numbers and max suited at your peak (sorry if you are still power lifting, I think i remember reading where you took time off)

          • max raw i did was 455 at a high220 low 230. shirted i did 545

            squated 535 raw at 235-240, suated i did a 675

            DL raw 687 at 218,suited i smoked 722 and just missed 738 at lockout.

            • Ha maybe one day if i start training for strength I will reach numbers like that....I just have to cool it for a little bit and let my back heal....it isn't injured anymore but I still don't feel 100%...Mentally it is tough to back off

              • mentally PLing is hard to put yourself in a position where you could hurt yourself and any givin moment with any givin lift.

                  Yea I actually competed in High School....my numbers should be higher than what they are but I couldn't push it hard for a couple years because i injured myself shortly after I graduated....I pulled my back in 8 spots (so they say) and jerked that vein that runs from your pelvis through your stomach....almost required surgery but i lucked out and didn't have to do it.

                  I just started deadlifting and squating again about 6 months ago.

                  Now I wasn't close to your numbers ahah....I could pull 475, squat 405, and bench 300...raw and at the time naturally...I always think what if I didn't hurt myself....I wouldn't be a pro but would definitely be able to show up to adult shows and have fun doing them.

                    • Well officially at my last competition I dead lifted 475, squats 365, and benched 290..I will have to dig the article out sometime and check just to make sure but I know my total was well over 1000lbs.those where my numbers by the time I graduated which was about 4 months later.

                          • Nothing exciting today just cardio....going to try my best to stay out of the weight room on saturdays for a little bit....I felt way more refreshed for Sundays lift last week and I could benefit more from the rest than the workout I think.

                            • Okay with all of my friends married, in another country (military) or at the bars i decided to go get a leg lift in. I am pretty much a loner anymore

                              Just compound movements with calves to finish it off
