  • BCAAs: work? worth it? If so, what brand is best?

    Lifting into middle age.

I started believing the food / protein was what worked - not the shakes, and supps etc., (I have never competed), so why spend the money?

In your experience, do BCAAs help in middle age?

If so, what brand is best?

I took them years ago. I can't recall any particulars.

    Thanks in advance.

Im sure any brand of BCAA is fine. Just get the one with the least amount of sugar, and artificial flavors and crap like that. Just a plain ol BCAA powder.

I prefer EAA, they also contain the 3 BCAA.
