I advocate for my patient's and make sure that their medical and personal needs are met. It's about assessment, carrying out treatment plans and protocols and not just administering medications. But you damn well better believe cowboy that I have far less room for error than most occupations. I make great money and still do not get paid enough for what I do. There is nothing you can ever think or say that can make me feel embarassed about what I do. The return love that I received from a family earlier tonight on how I took care of their loved one in there last hours until his last breath is all I need for professional validation.
