try clearing your cache, in firefox you go to tools>options>advanced>network and under offline storage click clear now

in internet explorer click safety>delete browsing history, the item you want checked is temporary internet files, the others you can uncheck

If you are browsing at work it could also be blocked by them.

It's a relatively good program considering that it's free. The program support center is somewhat helpful but slow unless you get the premium support services. Norton makes some pretty good products and I've recently discovered two products, CCleaner and SUPERAntispyware, that have proven very useful.

Malware Bytes is pretty good too and that one is free of charge. I've cleaned up some pretty nasty stuff with that piece of software.

Also, trend micro has a website that you can go to that will scan your computer for free as well, (that is if your computer isn't screwed so bad that you can't get to the Internet.)

did you download Shareaza from shareaza.com? If so you have been duped into downloading a nasty piece of spyware which i suggest you uninstall straight away. It won't fully fix the problem (I will look into ways to do it though) but it is a start.

Sounds like a definite browser hijack, the problem is they are difficult to remove.

Download this program http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/produc...HijackThis.exe and copy and paste the log file it creates here and i will see if i can identify the problem.
