your right , but we are always told from the beginning . how to correctly lift weights. we all know good form is needed. we all do get a little sloppy sometimes.

i mean no disrespect to branch. i just cringe when i see him train. i dont get it . his arms do look sick though.

While technique "on paper" is one thing, obviously for guys at this level its a matter of what works for them. If they feel throwing the weight around is going to achieve the desired effect, then so be it. No doubt if they felt they were to benefit more so from strict form, they'd be doing it.

according to the video branch is now feeling the benefits or easing up on the heavy ass weights and focus on better form

And interesting thing to note is that when going more ''sloppy'' and ''throwing weights around'', one actually gets more sore than when training hard with perfect, super strict form, probably because you are letting it all hang out

the barbell curls in the beginning is what made me nervous. he's one of my fav's to win but his form is horrible. no wonder he's torn just about everything. but i guess if it works, why fix it. Go Branch!

Stop listening to alle the gurus and paper experts.

How many times did our ancestors use perfect pull-up form climbing a tree to get away from the man-eater. A man shall not know his limits until he lets go the fear of getting hurt.
Having a valid opinion about the man's obvious and self-admitted shit form requires getting a pair? Nothing was said about it not working for him. Nothing was said about perfect, super-strict form being optimal for muscle growth or athletic performance.

If I held a gun like that in the parking lot of my gym, I would have been beaten and arrested by the police.
