Thread: What are your Training goals for this Month

    for the month to come: gain a bit of overall mass that i lost in a training interruption.
    for the year: bring the arms up, kick some more v in my back

    Continue getting leaner but also putting on quality weight and muscle mass. I know that it takes a long time but i am very into the whole process so im ok with it.

    Hmmm, only a week left in March! My goal for this month was 270 x 1 on the bench. Last night I got 247 x 4 (last rep was slightly assisted), so I still feel confident I can do that.
    Bodyweight has been gradually climbing but I'll still be under 150. Longer term goal is to be able to be bench 2 x bodyweight for reps.

    Well March was pretty much a bust for me training wise. Elbow and lower back pain screwed everything up. I am feeling much better.

    But my plan for April is pretty much the same.

    Reps still at 6-8 generally.

    Back/Rear Delts
    Off
    Chest/Triceps/Laterals
    Biceps/Calves/Abs
    Quads/Hams
    Off
    Repeat

    My elbows start buggin when I do shoulder presses so that is why there is no shoulder day in there, FOR NOW.

    I am still doing PM cardio after work. Switched to HIIT.
    Not Everything. Not Yet.

    stay consistent for the month and make some good gains... Should be easy enough to accomplish, i'll be in full swing in another week.

    Well I gained a good amount of strength.

    For the next 30 days my goal is to get back to deadlifting and doing dips.

    I hit my short term goals of back and front squats. Hit 212kgx2 and 175kgx2. I'm making progress in getting my shoulder back to 100%.

    My goal for this month and next is to lean out which will cause some strength loss but I'm ok with that. The drop in strength will allow my shoulder to keep healing and it'll give the rest of my body a much needed break to.

    March was pretty shitty for me too man. I'm working 2 jobs and doing side work so my goal is just to make it to the gym and stay awake 3-4 days a week this next month. After I have the amount of money I want for another vehicle I'll turn the work down and hit the gym more.

    Done the deads. 374 for 5, which went very well.

    Dips on the other hand ... awkward. My right arm wants to fully extend, my left one just won't let me.

    Going to keep at it, might be able to retrain my movement pattern.

    Trainer/nutritionist had me set a goal of dropping my % body fat from 11.5 to 10 and doing FST-7's this month.

    Decrease size of waist by .5"+
    Deadlift 495+
    Rep 100's on DB Seated Shoulder Press
