IFBB Professional Bodybuilding has returned to the UK!

The UK's only IFBB Pro event is returning! It will be held in the most iconic city in the UK, at the modern and easily accessible ExCel Centre at London's Docklands.
The British Grand Prix Pro Bodybuilding will feature both Men's Open and Under 202 classes. Just two weeks after the Arnold Classic, many of the world's top bodybuilding names will be competing in top form. With $50,000 in prize money for the Open and $20,000 for the 202s and the top three places in both being invited to the Mr Olympia, it's certain to feature the best of the best.
Joe Weider's Mr Olympia Euro Amateur Bodybuilding Championship

The event will also feature the first Joe Weider's Mr Olympia Euro Amateur Bodybuilding Championship & the prestigious International Cup. From across Europe, the top amateur competitors will be invited to compete. Featuring men's weight classes, ladies physique, bodyfitness and men's classic bodybuilding. One pro card will be awarded to the overall winner of the men's weight categories.

None of the 202 guys on this list have yet to qualify for the 202 Olympia, so we will see three guys qualified in that division.

It's doubtful that we'll see three qualifications in the open, as four of the guys have already earned their spot and look to place at the top of the line-up at the show.

    Those guys are:
    Branch Warren, USA
    Kefalianos,
    Michael Australia
    Ronny Rockel, Germany
    Johnnie Jackson, USA

This is a bad move for Branch. He will prolly win, but the risk is too great. Essa could upset anyone and Rockel is always a threat. He already won the Arnold... why take the risk and lose momentum going in to Olympia?

Maybe because he has a MASSIVE fan base over here in the UK that he wants to please and also pickin up $30,000 always helps...

Branch will also be doing a tour of the UK and has a photo shoot lined up at Temple Gym on the Monday.

Toney is a possible top three, but not probable based on the Arnold. Roelly, Branch, Ronny, and Johnnie placed ahead of him there. Unless he's tightened up and they relaxed. If he comes in 4th, and all three ahead of him are qualified, he can qualify that way.

I agree about Branch, but I respect him for honoring the commitment he made to the show prior to winning the Arnold. Yes, he would lose momentum if he lost. I just don't think he will, though.
