I was always a closet fan of the old Winnipeg Jets (had a Teemu Selanne jersey to prove it) and am thrilled that they are back. But I wish they brought back the jerseys from the 95-96 campaign. These new ones just don't do it for me. What's your thoughts, Ukrainian Guy?
At first I didnt like it either. I LOVED the 90's version of the logo!
However, now that i see it EVERYWHERE it has grown on me. I am very proud of it, the Canadian Leaf and the "jet" is awesome!
Commercials and promotions really focus on the Jet fighters aspect, and sometimes even substitute The Jet Hangar for the MTS Center. I bought a big tire cover for my truck, got 4 tshirts and a hat, and more to come!
I can't wait for the 3rd jersey though, I hoping its either a jersey with the wings, found on the shoulder patch, or better yet TNSE verison of the "old" jersey!
Yeah having lunch at LOVEY"S BBQ, some dudes sit down and started drooling over them, so I had to come over and help them drool, their seats are high as u can do in the first bowl, no one behind them so they can stand all they want, Awesome view they said.. ENVY and JEALOUSY
yeah i have been to many actually, a few dates, buddies from school, many just my father and I,
and after he passed away my uncle every year would take me at Xmass.
