I used to think the same way until I switchd to a high carb diet, I think those guys eat about 800-1000g a day not 600g lol so for a guy that maybe 200 lbs 400-600g a day would be ideal, remember carbs spare protein(Nassers diet was 80% carbs) Kuclo only eats around 350 g of prot and aound 800g carbs, I do believe high carbs(depending n your weight) is the way to go

I'm getting around 400-500 grams at best but I just don't have enough room in my gut to get anything more in there. My carb sources are pretty much white rice, sweet and white potatoes, oatmeal, breads, pasta, bananas and other easily digestible fruit. I do have about 35 grams from gatorade pwo.

I have tried adding in cardio to kick in my metabolism but that hasn't helped.

I tried using vitargo but that stuff gave me the shits and bloated me.

Any thoughts on other carb sources that are easily and quickly digested?
You may have problems with gluten if Viatrgo bloated you and caused indigestion, as Vitargo is one of the most easily digested carbs in the world. Try Karbolyn....it's very good and pretty much no one has issues with it, as it's gluten-free.

Also, unless you weigh 250 lean lbs or more, 400 grams of protien is too much.

Mike, you andi hve been discussed carb intake privately and i think from our exchange is safe to say that
we cant just give out advice on how to eat 600 grams to someone who might not be ready for it, all food allergies aside. if he s struggling with 600 grams why not gradually increase the amount overtime? also so many other factors come into play which i wont mention here right now. i mean i am now eating over 200 grams MORE than i was just a week ago, but we both knoy WHY i was able to increase them without any issues

What would you say were the main benefits of increasing carb intake Rocky?

for a banana to be 40g of carbs, it would have to be 6.5 ounces or 175 grams, well over 10" long, no homo. the chances of you finding that at a store is very rare.

I agree with you, fruits are good sources of carbs. Add oatmeals ,breads and get rid of too much protein.

    Enough with the banana talk.

Yes Fernan, you are unfortunately pretty fat. The lighting can only do so much.

    OP hasn't posted back yet.

No one needs 600g of carbs if they can't use it/stay hungry from it.

If your current diet is not adding mass or decreasing bodyfat, up the dose.
