    I used to always do 5 days per week, but I felt like hitting my biceps 2x with back and arm day was putting too much stress on it so I've recently cut down to 4 days.
    mon: legs, light weight calves
    tue: chest, triceps
    thursday:back, biceps, forearms
    friday:shoulder, heavy calves.

    seems like a lot of people recover at different rates, i've found over the years that 5x a week works best for me.

    4-5 times a week, cardio of some sort on off days.

    4 times..sometimes 5
    Mo - back and triceps
    Tue - chest and biceps
    Thu - shoulder and legs
    Fri - heavy barbell row plus each muscle fill up with blood(one exercise each)
    sometimes Sa - one exercise each muscle(but no legs) fill up

    5 weight workouts, and 6 cardio (sometimes 7).

    My main goal is weight loss so cardio in the morning on empty stomach and weights in afternoon. Sometimes if energy is low I will just do one session, weight followed by short cardio. Been on this basic schedule six months and working well.

    Lift 4 days per week, spread out over 7-8 days, and alternate mod cardio on non-lifting days, and HIIT in the a.m. on non-lifting days weekly.
