I buy the slin-trol from natty nutrition. I used one bottle(month long). It's just one pill 4 times a day.

I would like to bump this thread. Anyone still taking GDAs?

I came across this thread three years ago in 2008 and began using GDA's(Chromium Polynicotinate 200mg and Vanadyl Sulfate 10mg), between 4-6 times aday as Tipsta recommended. I have to say, they helped my body get into theleanest state it's ever been in. Unfortunately I never checked my blood glucoselevels at the time, but I can tell you I was the leanest AND strongest I'veever been. Not to mention the pump and fullness I would have. I've never beenable to compete, due to constant injuries, but I have been training rigorouslyfor over 10 years. Since 2008 I've had a few injuries that set me backincluding a hernia, T3 herniation, and recurring L5-S1 herniation. From 2008 to2010, I went from a solid/lean 180 to a soft 230. I finally got my craptogether a year ago and decided to get back into shape. From August 2010 toAugust 2011 I cut down and recomped from that soft 230 to another solid/lean185.

So here I am now, lean and trying to stay injury free, and wanting to put onsize, cleanly. I came back to this thread a few days ago and read through everypost and decided to use GDA's again, but this time to help put on mass ascleanly as possible. So I picked up a blood glucose monitor the other day andran a few tests. Although I KNOW GDA's helped me utilize carbs efficiently afew years ago, this time I want to see the proof in my blood glucose readings. And I believe I did. I tested one day's meals without GDA's and the next day’smeals with GDA's.

    10/6/11 (Without GDA's)

    8:15 (upong waking): 75

    9:00 (30g/30g from egg protein/orange)

    9:30: 115

    10:00: 83

    10:30: 85

    10:45 (5 eggs/10.6 oz potato)

    11:00: 115

    11:15: 108

    11:45 89

    10/7/11 (With GDA's)

    8:15 (upon waking): 75

    8:22: (30g/30g egg protein/orange with VS/CP)

    8:37: 102

    8:52: 109

    9:22: 62

    9:37 (5 eggs/10.6 oz potato with VS/CP)

    9:52: 84

    10:00: 85

    10:30: 66

Later in the day I ate 8 oz grilled chicken with 15 oz potato and it took myblood glucose from 75 to 95 (30 min PP)

These GDA’s truly are amazing and they do work.

My only question is this… even on the day I ran tests inwhich I did not use GDA’s my blood glucose remained pretty low and maxes out atabout 115 after 10.6 oz potato. Doesthis mean I can increase the amount of potato I eat until my blood glucosereads around 180? And I assume if I use GDA’s I can eat even more potato untilI hit 180, which I believe reading is the threshold of when glucose is thenstored as fat. Is this correct?

I love gda's.. i fell in love with anabolic pump and pslin back in the day.. now I use R-ala at 100-200mg and it works like a charm. I've experimented with na-rala, ala, pretty much everything and for the price.. Rala works best for me.

I take 800-1,200mg of ALA a day with biotin….also, like to add Alcar to the mix.

What is Alcar? Does the Biotin really help?
