MD Joins Forces with PBW Radio

Over the past several years, MD has taken huge strides toward becoming bodybuilding's #1 multimedia destination. Today, I'm excited to announce that we have reached an agreement with my friend and “Pro Bodybuilding Weekly” creator Dan Solomon that brings his popular show to MD!

I've been a fan of the show since 2005 when Dan launched the first ever radio show devoted exclusively to the world of professional bodybuilding. As most of you already know, the show earned a solid reputation for being the "SportsCenter" or the "CNN" of the bodybuilding industry. They work closely with the NPC and the IFBB Pro League to deliver all the latest inside scoop - STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE. They've interviewed the biggest names in the business, from Arnold, Joe & Ben Weider, all the way to every single winner of the Mr. Olympia contest.

This year, the show expands with more global content, and the popular "PBW" letters will now stand for "Pro Bodybuilding Worldwide." As we begin a new season here at MD, I'm extremely proud to welcome Dan, along with his team, Chad Nicholls (the original guru to the stars) and industry insider Lee Thompson.

We have big plans for the show and we are proud to join Bodybuilding.com as a supporter of one of the industry's flagship programs.

Cool.. and it's about time they dropped the Pro Bodybuilding WEEKLY slogan as they haven't been on in almost 2 months and usually do 1-2 shows a month.

Nice to have so many different selection of muscle radio shows from all the sites.. each a little bit unique.

Thanks Steve! I think we've crowned 4 Mr. Olympia champions since you and I first discussed the possibility of working together! The past decade has been quite a ride...and it really is remarkable how you've managed to elevate the MD brand. When we first started PBW I had a "West Coast correspondent" named Shawn Ray, a "Venice Beach Corresponant" named Dave Bourlet.....and my favorite guest was a perennial runner-up named Jay Cutler. - All of a sudden, ALL of those guys landed here at MD. --- As the industry has become more and more "corporate", it feels good to join a community that still feels authentic. -- I should also admit that my 5 year old son thinks Jay Cutler is a real life superhero.....and they always say, "when you have a big decision to make, just ask a 5 year old.". -- On a serious note, thank you Steve, Elyse, Shawn, Sean, Ron H, and the entire team....and to all the members and supporters of Team MD, thanks for making me feel at home.
