it can make me nauseous in the morning
but you have to eat in the morning or you'll look like ...
well we all know what that looks like
i try to keep at least one oat/egg white/protein powder baked square from the day before so i have something to start eating as soon as i get up
eggs and hashbrowns is what i wake up to everyday! my favorite meal of the day. im not excatly hungry either right when i wake up but i figure thats because my metabolism is shut down from not eating for 7-8 hours while i sleep. either way i never wait more than an hour to get my breaksfast in. fuck whey protein if it makes you throw up and feel like shit.
i wake up every morning thinking of breakfast
I wouldn't waste my money on beef isolate protein. Its marketed like its as good as steak but its really derived from the tendons, ligaments, and boiled flesh from bovine...not exactly the best part of the cow and the amino acid profile and creatine content isn't anywhere near that of actual beef.
Also, don't go with shit like rice, soy, and hemp proteins. Once again the amino acide profile sucks compared to other options out there. I would stick with a high quality hydrolyzed whey isolate or egg white protein protein personally. Most peoples stomachs are upset by whey proteins that contain concentrate. Good isolates for the most part completely remove the lactose which is the cause of producing the mucus. With protein powders you get what you pay for. If you try and save a few bucks by rationalizing that you should get a good isolate cut with casein or concentrate to slow absorption time all your really doing is cutting the quality.
Whole food, as always, is your best option but if you really can't stomach it early in the morning try and at least get a BCAA/EAA supplement combo in with oatmeal or even a carb supplement like waxy maize, karbolyn, or even Gatorade as a last resort. Just my 2 cents.
When I'm sad, I stop being sad and be AWESOME instead...True Story.
