No he has older videos of him in a single ply suit but his 832 pull was done at Raw Unity which is an invite only raw meet. Josh Bryant had 14 guys lift at that meet. He was also the youngest guy to bench 600 Raw. I've trained with Josh, it's hard, heavy, and most importantly productive. Guy is incredibly knowledgeable and I think would fit really well.

Yep, I agree with the Josh idea as well.
In defense of Louie and the shirted 600 pound benches... I think he was just going with the current flow of things. lots of big equipped events so that's what he trained them for.
S-530, B-380, D-650: Total-1560 in 242s (3-24-12)

Now that the bench shirts and suits are (thankfully) becoming unpopular (a LOT less popular than they were a decade ago), let's see if WSBB starts producing and promoting raw and classic lifters who compete in federations with strict judging (i.e. USPF, USPA, 100% RAW, USAPL, Hardcore Powerlifting and the AAU) The general standards and expectations for the sport have greatly improved. In my opinion, people are tired of the fake lifting and the high squats they're seeing in what's commonly referred to at the "Multi ply federations." Only time will tell if Louie will "Go with the current flow of things" in this regard. I hope he does choose to get serious about his standards for what constitutes a good powerlift.
Stay Strong,
Sean
