I actually like doing tris first then finishing things off with bis. I like doingthem together also so I can alternate tris and bis if I wanted to. However, the main reason I do it this way is because I feel like each is such a small muscle in the grand scheme of things, putting them together on my last day of training for the week just made sense.

For me it varies. One week I can train them on a separate day and the next week I can train them as chest/tri's then back/bi's.

It's stupid they should be done at the end of major muscle groups. Giving them a separate day just delays how often you train the important muscles. A 1 day delay might not sound like much but it adds up to a lot over time.

Say you train each muscle once a week
    4 times a month
    52 times a year

Say you train each major muscle group once every 5 days.
    6 times a month
    73 times a year

big difference and thats just 1 year now figure 10 years

I do a separate arm day fresh and hard. I do arms at the end of the week so my exercises that use my arms have a chance to rest. I run a 5 day work out targeting different muscle groups. Chest, back, shoulders, legs, then arms.
