Default "A Parable Of Health & Fitness"

I wrote a new book called "A Parable Of Health & Fitness" that you can purchase on Barnes and Nobles website! The book is about how I started to let God lead me through not only my personal life but health & fitness as well!

So what led you to seek a biblical answer to health and fitness? I know Joel Osteen purports to follow a "biblical diet" to help keep him in shape? What made you? Were you a christian beforehand, or was it something that developed with your dedication to fitness?

I had a lot of ministers and other believers tell me that I had a calling but I didn't believe it! I went to church and became a part of the prison ministry but I was not happy with myself. I was down and out about my life and my training. One night I just gave up and ask God to take over everything in my life. Once I did, God changed not only my personal life but my health & fitness side. The more I learned about him, the more everything changed.

No problem! What I found was I could make positive decisions but as I got older it was difficult to maintain that positive attitude. Once learned about other people in the bible that was going through the same struggles I had and they turned to God for help He changed their lives for the better if they tried to follow his direction. God knows we can't be perfect but he want us to turn to him whether good or bad decisions we make!

Youve externalized your attitude change and made the focus this thing/person/presence called God.

    Whatever works I guess...

    Good luck with the book.

*To others (no offence to original poster)

But notice how for God to do anything it first takes ACTION on your part? Theres one single common denominator to all the great stuff God does. I'll let you figure out what that one single common thing is....

Also no disrespect meant, but do you think it's possible that the power to make positive decisions was within you all along?

Why do you think you have the need to externalize your power, as BITB points out?

Sounds like you are doing good things. Teaching about health and fitness and helping to rehab convicts is a very noble pursuit. As an agnostic I salute you and whatever method you use to yield positive results.

Has anyone ever told you you're sexy when you're neutral?
