And we most definitely ARE talking about biblical interpretation when we talk about agendas! You stumbled upon it right away! And so I want you to examine what might be driving you to continue to insist on an interpretation that causes more suffering in the world. Why would you do that?

The logic goes like this...if one's agenda can color one's interpretation of scripture, as it so clearly does in this instance, then you must reveal and defend YOUR agenda and show that yours is superior enough to warrant this poor boy living alone and in pain for the rest of his life.

You must also show that this is what Jesus wanted. Not Paul, not Abraham...but Jesus.

I know this feels like nit picking, but in reality it is the crux of the matter, and what I was hoping to get at all along.
I questioned his agenda because it didn't seem objective by virtue of his cherry-picked examples.

Furthermore, I've invited you to read these scriptures and make up your own mind about them. I haven't insisted on anything. Suffering isn't what this is about, but what the majority of us all consider main line interpretation connected to homosexuality, and including homosexuals. You can try to queer this interpretation based on agendas but it just doesn't fly for most of gays looking at this and mainstream Christians.

Furthermore, you can't provide any examples on these forums that proves that an objective interpretation is strapped with an agenda. Give me an example of what you insist is my agenda. Being connected to Christ isn't a logical example of that unless you have a prejudice about Christians...which you do.

On Christ: Christ says that He fulfilled the Law....end of discussion.

I was not trolling at all, you may not know this but I'm Christian, and I was saying good bye to the religion section. You have already giving me an infraction, saying that i'm trolling when I wasn't. I'm not coming back to the religion section. Good bye.

Just more evidence that the religious use religion and belief as an eternal safety net.

I admit, I didn't watch it. Too painful to listen to his voice, but I still support his ability to live his life on his own terms.

Let's promote a cage match between the believers, and non believers. I'll put up a 10k purse, no 5K sounds better.
