Thread: How often do YOU train ur abs?

    I like doing abs a couple of times a week. The post above is right about the abs getting stim from other exercises, but I like the contraction of doing a few abs sets.

    Abs everyday that you train and stick soley to bw just make sure to burnout on every set. High intensity and abdominal compressions will do the rest

    I take the 2-3 times per week approach. I do 6-8 sets for my abs at each workout. I usually do 3-4 sets of crunches and 3-4 sets of hanging knee raises, 2-3 times per week. I follow proper diet plan and regular workout.

    I used to do abs every day, but now I only do them once a week. I do a full workout though, including about 6 exercises for 3 sets of each.

    Crunches and sit-ups always trigger the formation of abdominal muscles. Crunches, sit ups etc are essential for getting muscular abs but these are not the only exercises that do the job.I performed Front Squats,Push down triceps,Dumbbell row,Sprints for my abs.

    It depends on the person but I find my abs get worked enough from squats,deadlifts etc so I don't need to train them directly, the only way you can see whats best for you is to try different methods and see what works best

    I feel Crunches, sit ups etc are essential for getting muscular abs but these are not the only exercises that do the job. You can also fix up a stipulated time for doing isolation exercises. The motto should be to emphasize on quality rather than quantity.

    3 times a day, i also train biceps 3 times a day

    everyday i do 3 sets on the machine and 3 sets on the bar where u place your hands and lift up and down.... i switch positions and weights as much as ai can, but i always wanna keep hitting them

    ah i always way up and do pushups and crunches and end my day that way... forgot to addd that

    even when i dont hitt the gym i do abs... hit them everyday is my best advice.. and you will notice massive changes quickly...switch it up though not just up and down go side to side ect.. mix it up gl
