they have a great search engine if you type in what you are looking for. that said, also check the website of various federations. some fo the meets I do are NOT listed on powerliftingwatch.com.
just be aware of the types of meets you are looking at. some are raw, equipped, tested, untested, etc.
Thanks...I think the person was telling me less about a PL and more about BB contest like what SVT did back in May 2011.

Yeah, I had a good day. Apart from missing my 231 bench, I nailed all other 8 of my attempts

Won my class and finished 4th overall by Wilks formula (weighed in at 139lb). Goal was to be top 5 so I did that.

Deadlift was a 3xbw pull so that was another of my goals, possibly could have got 192.5kg and yes I probably could have got a 125kg squat. All in all a great day and I'm not too bummed about missing my last bench attempt. Video to come, food and beer first though !!

So here's the new protocol which will run over 12 weeks. Starting sometime towards the beginning of January once I know what date the Canterbury Champs are ~ usually falls around mid April

    Time to revive Joe's thread...

Just entered a push/pull meet on 15th Feb, will be an opportunity to test out my numbers see where I'm at. I'm not going to rest up for it as I haven't even really started any proper training yet, will just rock on up and see what happens. Should be good though

    Love it.
My next one is April 6th.
Not aiming for any weight class, just going in at what ever I am that day.
Just decided I really need to work squats and deads in the same day. So I worked back from the meet and put in Sq/Dl session once every 10 days (well once it's an 11 day spread cause I didn't want to train on the weekend).
Other stuff (mainly pressing) will be worked in whenever I feel like it and have the time/schedule for it.

    Main goal: total 1600
kinda lofty but doable on a good day I think.
something like this would be nice:
    560sq
    380b
    660dl
    gonna be rough.

Awesome Joe, I have no doubt you can hit those numbers.

How many weeks are you going to prep for? My meet's April 20th, start prep this Monday actually which will give me 10wks.

I've been training right along. I have some sq and dl number planned out right up to the meet (every 10 days), hitting those numbers will be a different story.

I think I have a 200kg/440lb deadlift in the bag if I can stay injury free. Just back from a push/pull meet tonight and despite just running on base strength right now it went pretty well

Didn't miss a lift, my attempts were:

    DL:
    374/396/418

    Bench:
    200/220/232

Haven't seen the official results yet but should be good enough for a decent placing. Prep for my April meet is just about to start next week, can't wait to get stuck into some serious hard training again MF.

Very strong. Might I add a little comment. Notice the lower leg as you are getting ready to pull? It angled alot at the start. You want to limit that "dorsal flexion" because it makes the bar have to travel out and back in. So it can be a deal breaker. I am worker on that for myself.

Makes sense, thanks Shawn. I think they're in that position from me trying to angle my knees outwards as per Mark Bell's instructions. I hear what you are saying though and I'll see if I can do anything about it.

Was impressive to watch some of the big guys lift ~ especially big Nick who pulled a solid 638 (the guy in blue T Shirt)
