That is heartwarming to say the least. I like to see things like this. Im sure the visit made a hell of a difference in his life.
By morning we will have a photo gallery from Evan's visit right here on MD. I hoped to have it posted tonight, but I decided to direct my resources this afternoon towards something that I hope will be more meaningful to Chris. Look out for the gallery in the morning and a video in next couple of days.
As we get the photos and video posted, please feel free to comment and leave messages right here for Chris. And do so knowing that you might just give him the push he needs to fight through one more day.
This was the most special experience I've had on the job and I owe a thanks to Evan and Universal Nutrition for allowing MD to support this effort and be a part of such a special moment. I hope this is the first of many...
The cancer is tough, i know it well, so all my best wishes to Chris, to your father Evan and strength for the families.
Normally i'm a dick on the forum but i gotta say i got tears in my eyes good luck to chris and his family and may god bless you, also mayor respect for Evan doing this !
Happy to hear you took time with Chris and made his day. Sorry to hear about ur dad as well. Hope he makes it out ok. He seems like an old school tough bastard so he might beat this shit yet! Anyhow good story and I wish Chris the best.
What about the part when Evan absolved him of his cancer?
What a great story, Evan is the man!

It is great to see that bodybuilders (Way to go Evan) or any other lifters can make a difference in someone elses life! My prayers are with you Chris!
The feeling Evan descibed about not being able to do more is so frustrating.. But amazing that you did the thing that was in your power. I know you are not the guy who likes to be in the spotlight and the only reason you do this is to help Chris and not be in the spotlight like most famous people. Sorry to hear about your dad, parents are too important to their kids to lose. Best of luck and thank you for inspiring.
btw, what is the name of the book you gave to Chris Evan?
I believe its As a Man Thinketh by James Allen.
That is some heartwarming stuff.Puts things in perspective.Much respect to Evan and all the best to Chris.
Bodybuilding isn't about how much you can lift.
It's about how much you say you can lift.
Bodybuilding needs more involvement like this,Evan is a great representative of the sport and As most of us know in our personal lives that life and well being is very fragile.Much Respect to Eric and the animal crew and Sean Andros and team md!
