very interesting thought. Never thought of that before, but u are right. Drug use was probably going on though during ball.

It's kind of weird, once you get into 5'10-5'11+ it seems like the frame changes a lot and it seems like you can hold a lot more weight than you look (I'm a prime example, sometimes I look like 190 when i'm actually 225). Most people that are 6'1 with a big frame and 300 lbs might not appear super big on stage. I think gunter competed at what, 300 lbs? So that's probably what everybody is debating.

Exactly. Different eras, so I don't give a shit.

But I wonder what the men from the golden era would look like with todays diet/training/drug protocols...cause their work ethic was second to none back then.

Remember, he is a tall guy. so, he can carry 300lbs much easier than most.

Height matters and it's very important, 300 lbs is huge, but it would look very different if the individual is 5'7'', 6'1'' or 6'5'', that would be 3 totally different looks

ALL the dominant multiple MR.O winners - Arnold, Ronnie, Dorian, Haney - have been 5'10, 5'11 so height is important. Being taller makes a bb'er seem bigger, more expansive. And they can carry the freak size/weight needed to dominate better then shorter guys.

People who say he's not healthy. He's gonna die young, burnout early etc are funny LOL Shawn Ray, Haney, Arnold, Gaspari etc all turned PRO young and had nice long careers. This kid just has amazing genetics for bbing from the putting on muscle mass to his receptors loving gear. He also grew up on a damn farm, they work HARD on farms and eat LOTS of good food..I know a few farmer buddies. BIG GUYS all matural, it would be scary seeing them on gear

Farming life teaches a hard work ethic...something LOTS of pros seem to lack these days.
