I remember talking to Dexter about his placings in 2010...I thought he was screwed out of a few placings and was saying, "Man, I thought you should have placed better. You looked great! How can you not be upset with that?" His response was just that, "Man, I got one! Shawn ain't got one. Kevin don't got one. Flex don't got one, and I got one!" As we went back and for he said it just didn't matter a placing here or there he got his and that was all that mattered to him! He was so chilled and laid back and content with life. With that said, it is easy to see why he gets better. He got his and he just keeps plugging aways doing what he does. He doesn't stress over it

Ever since the first time i picked up my first Muscle Mag and seen Dex in it ive always thought to myself that he had got to be one of the best BB of alltime. I think he is the one of the only BB nowdays thats got those crazy hard muscle bellies, and with clothes on actually looks like a bb. His only got one pose that he isnt great in and thats that Rear lat spread everything else his spot on. Btw when i met him in person when i was 17 he asked if my friends and i were "gonna pick up on some fit chicks" haha

I literally said the same thing to my self. Dex is easily one of the top 10 G.O.A.Ts and maybe even high top 5 overall.

An inspirational read, thanks Mr McGough. And that is another reason why I have so much respect for Dex, to go from a bantam weight competitor to a Mr Olympia is just amazing! And to still be getting better is even far more amazing.
