Getting all these guys together & giving them the platform to say great things about Joe Weider was a terrific idea. Well put together & classy.

    Thanks Adina.

Joe was Larger than Life and we are All a Testament to his Dream and his Passion.

He will not soon be forgotten, what a pleasure it was to work with & for a man of his Character.

This footage of Joe Weider's legacy shot from Evolution of Bodybuilding was right on...Shawn i hope you run with this, and create more docs on bodybuilding in the future..Perhaps docs on the great bodybuilders in our past shot in similiar fashion to this doc...On a side note you have grown a lot since your competitive days with your entertaining rants in the magazines from the nineties...I use to buy the mags just to hear what your opinion would be on the state of bodybuilding...Keep it up man, you are shining brightly...

Kinda of sad wondering where the sport will go? Will the Manions take over?
No one "Compared Joe to Steve" however many have made the comparison of "Steve to Joe."

I have heard this comparison a million times!

You may not have because you are not in the "Field" like I am among the people Mr. Blechman has affected personally as Joe has before him. Not just financially enabling alot of athletes to pursue their dreams but with the constant barrage of phone calls encouraging and advising the athletes how to be better and more competitive! Helping and Advising them on what shows to compete in, Poses that help them look better, Securing Supplement Contracts, Providing them with the best photographers, appearing in the #1 Bodybuilding Magazine!
Steve is a Fan of the Sport & Supporter of the Athletes which Joe was.
He is an Entrepreneur ala Joe.
    An Ambassador like Joe.
    A Publisher like Joe.
An Advocate of Health & Fitness like Joe.
A Sponsor of the Sport, like Joe.

The list goes on and on but you would have to know them Both to know the similarities.

I'm certain Steve heard this comparison often from people who worked with or knew Joe and it is the Ultimate Compliment knowing Joe's character.

Kudos to both men who are vastly knowledgeable yet uniquely different but still the common denominator "Love of Bodybuilding" has impacted Lives and the World in ways too numerous to count.

    Thanks Joe & Steve!!

Amazing video Shawn thank you for sharing. Not to distract from all the great things all of these people said but I felt that you and Peter McGough were the most well spoken and articulate. A great way to celebrate Joe Wieders life and his impact.

Awesome compilation there Shawn for an outstanding human being in Joe Weider. I must say I will never get sick of listening to Peter Mcgough and his way with words. MD is lucky to have such an individual, it's rare to find a person with such intellect.
