Well, for a biggest BB event that is not a lot. You know that BB sport is a joke, when you see something like this: http://www.dota2.com/international/home/overview/

    2.800,000 $ for a computer game, that's just insane!

Why are there so many negatives questions?

still not big enough... sometimes it's sad to see young amateurs bodybuilder struggle with their financial problem, tryin to get big in a budget is not easy, maybe, just maybe when you became a pro everything is easier, but they still can't live like any millionere atheletes outhere with their contracts..

To me, that's what makes bodybuilding great. The majority of the people who make it are truly some the hardest working, most dedicated and appreciative athletes around. Money doesn't cloud their heads like you see in other sports. If you want to multiply your money, you need to educate yourself like Jay did and research investments. Too many times in other sports you see athletes get HUGE salaries and then they think they are the shit and blow it all and file for bankruptcy.

I think it is important to remember that this is a single contest, not a whole season of bodybuilding contests. I think it is great for the sport that the total prize money has hit that million mark! The Mr. Olympia is setting a new standard for the sport, as they normally do.
