Would be interesting to see who they'd get to play any bodybuilder roles as actors can't 'muscle up' to Olympia size in a few mths... Well, not unless you are a advocate of the BL 'volume' method. After all, with enough supplements, anyone could do it!

Hope it's not a cheesy film that goes straight to DVD..

We need some real insight on how these two went up against others such as Dan Lurie..

They need to tell how bb'ing moved from an afterthought at powerlifting events to being more popular with the fans and the fitness craze later on..

I feel it should all tie-in with his bio..

I'm looking forward to it! I read this article in the magazine, then clicked on the link and started reading, and thought, "Hey, this looks familiar," I didn't know they posted articles from the mag on the website.

We've got ourselves a heck of a project here. -- We were really fortunate that Brad Furman signed on to write & direct the film. Brad is best known for his work as Director of "Lincoln Lawyer" (Matthew McConaughey) and more recently he directed "Runner Runner" w/ Ben Affleck & Justin Timberlake. Our producer (Steve Lee Jones) was nominated for a Golden Globe for his film "You Don't Know Jack" with Al Pacino, among others. The film will focus mainly on the earliest stages of Joe's crusade, dating back to the 1940's. There are several layers to Joe's story....and if all goes as planned, the movie will have a profound impact on how the "outside world" views bodybuilding, and more importantly, the impact bodybuilding has had on nearly ALL other athletic endeavors. -- Stand by for more updates......and a big thanks to the crew at MD (and Fitness Rx) for all the coverage!
