PBW PRESENTS: VICTOR – NOT FINISHED YET! (Tonight)

Can one of the world’s most popular bodybuilders contend, again?

He remains one of the most popular bodybuilders in the world. Since his pro debut 13 years ago, his story has captivated fans as he’s overcome nearly every imaginable obstacle. A few weeks ago in Columbus he landed in the Top 4, issuing a cautionary warning to those who had begun to count him out. This week on PBW, Victor Martinez stops by to discuss what could prove to be his final climb toward the top of the sport. – Also this week, a report from the Phil Heath Classic, the year’s largest National Qualifier!

Presented by the MD STORE, the 10th season of PBW continues - Monday.

Show Will BeAvailable "On-Demand", beginning at 8pm ET Monday at:

When you consider how everything played out after 2007 with injuries and all the other stuff, it makes it even more tragic that Victor got screwed in 2007.

It would be difficult to replicate that 2007 form.

EVERY pro bbers hits his peak perfectly ONCE, MAYBE twice in a career (S. Ray 1994, Yates 1993, Dillett 94, Levrone 94, Jay 2009, Haney 1991, Ronnie 2003,). Its sad b/c Victor should have won in 2007 with a perfect score (Jay should have been 3rd) but we all know how bbinig judging is. But trying to get lightning to happen twice aint going to happen

Whob should of been 2nd in 2008 if not jay?

Consider this jay peaked in 2001 before haney brought him bac in 09

Ronnie peaked at the 2001 AC after that 2003 was masterful.

Phil was better at his 13 mr.o, previous best was in 2011.

Shawn ray in peaked in 94 but brought his best to the 99 mr.O

Flex peaked at the 93 AC, but then blew that away in 98 at the AC

Dexter won the O in 08, but many thought his best ever was the 2012 masters.

I Vic has one, and I mean 1 final shot and its has to be this year.
2014 has to be vic's version of jay's 2009 when he was written off.

Nothing compared to S. Ray in 1994! He was bigger in 1999, but the detail he had in 94 looked silly!

Jay failed the drug test in 2001 (yes it was thrown out, but he failed it)

IMO, Dexter looked his best at the 2009 Olympia AND he should have placed 2nd

I had it the EXACT same way. I didnt even think it was close. Vic was the BEST bber that day! Wolf wasnt as complete as he is now, but if he beat Ronnie that year nobody would have said anything.

Because people tend to write someone off in record time when they incur the smallest injury or catching a cold...

"Only as good as your last game" certainly applies in this sport

We know why Vic stays in the game...166555.jpg
Vic looks great for an older BBer, he doesn't need to win a championship, just stay in the top 6.

As a top 3 bodybuilder vic has this and maybe pending on how this goes maybe next year.
But after that he will probably dominate shows like the toronto pro.
