So only 6 sets per bodypart? That means that you could do 1 exercise of 6 sets or 6 exercises of 1 set.

It's one of those things that will never be 100% agreed upon. Depends on the person, IMO.

    Interesting topic, nonetheless.

Arnold made Mike retire in his prime and Arnold was at 60% at best.

    Nuff said.

    iirc,

Mentzer was expected to win the Mr. Olympia in 1980, and Arnold competed without telling anyone in advance. Arnold won, and Mentzer retired and turned to alcohol.

    Is this correct?

Why didn't Menzter put in another year and go for the Mr. Oympia in 1981 instead of quitting?

I tried that, did not work as well as 3 movements, 2 work sets each. As many warm up sets as you need.

Was known to use amphetamine also. Shit is hard on the CNS... With that, you can drink waaay more alcohol and get you messed up nice and good real quick...

If you are pushing through until you actually can't go anymore on each of those 6 sets... I could see it working... maybe more of a training phase. Big Ramy has a set that lasts like 6 minutes... 20 second up and down on his reps... so... I imagine one set like that could do some damage.
