Yes, What Windows 8 should have been. Will it be possible to upgrade my laptop from W8 to W10? I like the look of W8 much better. Looks more user friendly.

No good. This is just Microsoft's way of getting more control over your computer and boost the price of their stock. This is how Microsoft operates, bringing out a new operating system every 2 or 3 years. That is why Bill Gates is worth 67 billion dollars.

I upgraded my laptop from Windows 7 to 10; it was the easiest upgrade ever and I currently like 10.

DirectX12 graphics support is a bonus as I like games.

It also freed up a load of space on my HD.

I'm still using XP Pro. Why change it if it works.

Hasn't support for XP been dropped?

How can a technophobe or someone who dissmisses new technology be a forum leader in the Computers/Video Games section?!

I will only upgrade to the lastest version when I build a new system.

Besides I just got a new TV when I was still using an old TV/VCR combo.

Sometimes it proves prudent adopting new technology after it has already become well established. I did that with smartphones and flat screens and managed to get some great deals. But you sir are just taking the piss!

According to my using experience I think Windows 7 is much more better than Windows 10.
