Thank you for posting this Naturalguy. Though I'm glad he put competing to the side for his family, I can't wait to see him on stage again.

Hopefully, Animal will be able to build Huh into a non-competing star a la Evan, and both parties will reap the rewards.

I'd like to see a paradigm shift in this industry where BBers are signed for what they can bring to the table in all facets (e.g. information brokering, general marketability, social following, print & digital exposure, etc). Competing on stage shouldn't be necessary. This will lead to a wayyyyyy healthier lifestyle for the BBer, and a longer run with the supp company from a health standpoint. I think pro BBing has or is about to reach a threshold of diminishing returns as we see more and more guys from yesteryear fall ill or dead. Not to mention, most of the top pros are approaching their early 40's and no one viable to take their place when they retire in 2-3 years. Who is going to replace talent that good? The top 5 at the Nationals? I doubt it. Not with the talent pool being so low at the national level. This is a MAJOR problem for the competitive side of the business.

    Moving along...

I don't think most supp co executives even give a shit if these guys compete! But, there are those stuck in their ways. I even read Singerman state, "2015 will be Evan (Centopani)'s year (on stage)." IMO, this is straight up dumb. Case in point, Singerman signed John Meadows around the same time he signed Evan. Unlike Evan, Meadows competes for fun. If Meadows didn't compete, no one would care or think less of him for one reason: He has a huge fan base online, and is very popular for a guy who doesn't even have and/or need an IFBB pro card. It's no surprise Singerman/Prime Nutrition released Meadow's supp formula before they did Evan's. Me thinks Meadows can move more units than Evan can (no diss on Evan) because Meadows has build up a brand & rep as being an expert. People watch and they listen. That should tell you everything.

So, for Singerman to state Evan will have a big competitive run in 2015 is naive. Evan most like doesn't want to compete (who would these days?), and is better off pushing his digital and traditional brand as hard as possible.

Anyway, Animal seems to be leading the way in the philosophy of building each BBer up as a "brand" instead of riding the coattails of a BBers competition victories. Overall, just a good patient move.
