    In a sport where so many guys are boring and so similar you have to wonder if they are in fact mostly clones, Kevin is very different indeed. Not quite as different as Kai, but a very unique man with his own distinct personality. Happy to have known him for almost 25 years now.

    Totally agree -- going back to the 60's/70's seemed like there were a lot of eccentrics in bodybuilding; now it seems everyone is striving to be similar.

    Great read Peter, nice to see what these guys are like 'behind the scenes.'

    He was by far my favorite pro from the 90's and my inspiration as I trained in my early 20's. Truly a classic physique, Kevin didn't sell out to be a mainstream pro, did it his way till the end of his career. Glad he never chased the mass game and always kept his waist and gut in check.
