Why always have a link within a link?

Why not just post the article?

All this article shows me is that not even Dorian Yates could give Ron Harris a set of arms.

That may be so, but sometimes a reminder hits home like a good reaffirmation.

For starters..., he says he didn't eat carbs before his workout to avoid having an "insulin elevation/crash", yet drank a protein shake, lol. He probably didn't have a clue protein, especially whey protein drinks, spike insulin close to as much as carbs. Funny how that worked out.
Then we have the idea Dorian may have used exogenous insulin as part of his other "supps" back then. As far as I know, insulin is injected before the training session (I maybe wrong though), which makes his original "strategy" even dumber.

I've always had a suspicion this was the case. I've often felt a slump within an hour of drinking them.

Protein...especially isolate, will spike blood sugar/insulin...but not to the same degree as carbs...

Regardless whatever Dorian did he did it just right, because with his genetics he maximized his potential and became the 2nd best bodybuilder(Ronnie of course was number 1) ever in the sport of Body Building!! He had great genetics for being dry, thin skinned, grainy, whatever you want to call it. Great genetics for leg size, but poor genes for thigh separation, which he had zero separation on his upper quad, great teardrop, great calves, actually the best calves on ANY Mr. O!! But like Haney he had a big torso, with smallish arms. Actually their triceps weren't the problem but it was their biceps, they were small. And Dorian had a genetically poor chest. Back though, fuck, he had a better back in some places than Ronnie. His lat spread was probably better than Ron's, definitely had a better Christmas tree. Back double bicep wasn't as good as Ron's ONLY because of his small biceps. But those two definitely did something right, being the best 1 and 2 bodybuilders EVER!!!

In his defense, I offer this quote from Hany Rambod said to me years ago: "I'm a Pro Creator, not a miracle worker."
