This why Peter is the best! Unreal interview and some great insights into why Fedorov made a comeback.

Great interview, and he does seem like a terrific guy...it is great how he does not focus on the "what might have happened" but actually focuses on what he can fix and improve...

Russians in general seem to be tough SOB's. The ones I've seen and met anyway.
Federov's intensity and Eye of the Tiger seem strong in the interview.
His physique is powerful looking but compared to what it could have been pre pec tear
    there is no comparison.
He is still a VERY big guy with a few INCREDIBLE poses.
This young pre tear FED had top 3 Olympia potential.
He had the size to hang with anyone but no one was getting past Coleman's
round, peaked and valleyed, separated best.

You could tell his passion.. was very emotional and teary-eyed towards end of interview. He's doing it for the fans that stuck with him throughout his bb'ing career.

Yes he got emotional at the end. Which for once had nothing to do with having to speak to me. Alex and Mikhail are great guys.

Fedorov has just competed in the MO, but he is on the list of men who had the potential to be the best of the world.

A champion is more than genetics and drugs, luck is also an important factor, injuries are a russian roulette.

Its really unfortunate about the pec tear but you cant go back in time and change it.Im sure he could if he was able to.I remember reading about him training in some cemetary in St Petersburg, thinking shit thats pretty brutal. This guys response to drugs with his genetics is on the same level as Kevin Levrone.Just unreal.

This interview was pure gold. You see so many guys now who quit so easily and then this guy comes saying "screw the injury, screw the genetic back imbalance, I don't care." Fedorov's attitude is of a true champion.

Yes let's enjoy the ride. He's only been back training for 11 months. He was 286 pounds in Orlando. Shows how muscle memory kicks in -- he can only get better.
