Lee Haney is one of my favorite bodybuilders ever! Lee has a lot class and has a great physique with a nice mix of thickness and a tiny waist.

So to get his pro card he first had to win nationals, then the world championship. I guess you could say it was "a bit" harder to become an IFBB pro at that time

In the 80's when there were just magazines to go by, I used to think what was the big deal with Lee Haney because pictures did not do him any justice. Then I ordered the 1988 Mr. Olympia video tape and from the first callout I was like holy shit!! He dwarfed everybody! He was tall for the average bodybuilder (5'11), but he just had a massive frame. But what really got my attention is when I met him in 1995 at the Arnold Classic. So he was retired for what 4yrs or so, but he was huge!! And he didn't lie about his height, because if anything he was 6'0ft even. Very cool guy too. Always liked Haney & always thought he deserved his wins. Check out his guest posing after his Olympia win in 1991 at the Great Lakes. Massive Guy!!!

Huge fan of Lee . I graduated from the same High school Lee attended and even worked out at Nautillus Gym. He came to my middle school after he won his 1st Mr Olympia and spoke it was awesome!

Haney had the greatest mr Olympia physique of all time. I remember a muscle and fitness article on his back (back in 86ish) and the photo of haney's back left me floored. watch youtube and see for yourselves if you doubt me.
