The pressure is higher at that altitude, so you get more oxygen. Not that hard to understand the benefit here?

NEVER. I lived in Denver. You gotta look far and wide for a hardcore gym. It will never compete against, CA, TX, NJ

Higher altitude means less oxygen. Not that hard to understand the disadvantage here?

Lol what?! Think you have that backwards chief. Air is far less dense at increasing altitudes hence less oxygen. However, hematocrit and hemoglobin is increased to allow more binding of oxygen. Problem is, thicker blood, slower moving blood, increased clot risk, stroke/MI potential.

Armbrust pro gym and self defined fitness have tons of competitors. I believe Colorado is also currently producing more IFBB pros than any other state.

Yeah totally derped out here. More oxygen is present at sea level and less oxygen and nitrogen at higher altitudes. Not sure what I was thinking

I'm pretty sure it's Phil's genetics, not the altitude giving him his 3dimensional appearance and super round muscle bellies

I'm pretty sure this article was posted in 2014 and 2013, each time around September.
